Designed by William Murray, Originally the Union Bank opened in 1867.
The bank went out of business just 6 months after construction and the building was bought by Hibernian Bank it is currently a H&M. 

The building is in the style known as Italian- Gothic with a French chateau-like roof and corner tower.
